Certifibly haunted

Certifiably haunted

Went into a pub a few days back, in the former mining town of Hucknall, which is located north of Nottingham. Whilst sharing drinks and conversation with friends, I caught sight of a framed picture on the wall. Without naming names.
Within the frame is a certificate with the words to the extent that this location has been officially acknowledged as being a haunted premises as investigated by” ******** paranormal investigation team”. Glad to know there is a team out there who actually know what a ghost is and can as such “certify” its existence and activity at a location. While seemingly everyone else in the world doesn’t have this insight.

This forms the initial of a series of articles with the over arcing theme of “Are we as paranormal investigators our own worst enemy?”

Paranormal Network archive – Weather – Orb comparison. A case of mistaken identity

(Original article available at http://www.paranormalnetwork.co.uk)

Here are a number of example photographs taken in a variety of weather conditions. Which show evidently how natural conditions coupled with the camera  flash create on screen anomalies which have sparked the “spirit orb” conversations.

Orbs are created as a digital camera artifact, with the flash being so close to the lens anything in and around the lens becomes illuminated creating light balls, strange reflections, coloured lights – the multiple colours are generated much in the way a rainbow is created. And is a brilliant example of this, light is made up of different wavelengths each a different colour of the spectrum. As light is scattered through a droplet or moisture it splits into its colours.

A particularly heavy downpour in Autumn 2007, see how the light captures the raindrops thought to be the “teardrop” but are in fact spheres/globules

Same rain storm

Moisture and water kicking out droplets caught here as “Orbs”

The act of waving incense photo captures wave of the smoke being generated.

Paranormal Network took this image a Mind, body and spirit festival a number of “psychics” and those with connections to information none of us living folks here, apparently a whole communication network of truth – they revealed this image to be that of a actor who had played Phantom of the opera, which is why there is the “theatre” mask. Another said great sadness as it is the lingering spirit of as girl who is on the verge of becoming an angel due to her pure nature. A third said angry and vengeful spirit who was following me and that i needed a clearing and a healing which would cost me just 25pounds. What this was really was a “sage jostick” being waved in woodland.

A trip to Matlock, looking under the bridge with the water flowing beneath and damp moist conditions seemed a great photos and low and behold “orbs”.

A misty with no flash

A misty with flash. Now we have mass amounts of “Orbs”

Paranormal Network goes audiable! (and more how would you like to get in voice acting?)

Paranormal Network today reveals an audio portal on the official website www.Paranormalnetwork.co.uk
The aim is multi-fold firstly to publish our research side of the paranormal, finding out information in the way we do. We come across so much rich material that is worth sharing! It gives us the ability to tell you about it, not just read it! We will be doing a number of our features exclusively in audio! These will not be just listenable online, but downloadable to listen when you wish and to take with you!
We have the skills, knowledge and experience to develop a high quality “podcast” style audio presentation, to be published in the same way, which will also be available on other outlets such as iTunes.

On our field investigations, we use record an audio log – we utilize a headset connected to a seperate digital dictaphone, we intend to from now on, publish our audio log files and as well as our EVP sessions.

And fourthly! Sylvia has been a writer of fantasy and sci-fi fiction for a number of years,
Also as a side project related to this – inspired by our good friends over at Darker Projects who produce high quality original audio dramas of science fiction, thrillers, chillers and tales in a darker shade. (In the vein of Twilight Zone and Outer Limits) as well as dedicated devotee audio dramas for Doctor Who and Star Trek. We will be developed an Audio drama – and is in process of now adapting some of her works into script for audio.
If you would like to volunteer for voice work you are welcome to apply Sylvia@ParanormalNetwork.co.uk
